It is sad that we live in a world where ‘lighter shade of skin color’ represents a ‘higher status’.. The girl who is average looking & not blessed with clear,beautiful,fair & flawless skin ; has to wear make-up even if she doesn’t want to, just to fit in these societal norms……!
